As a parent and yoga teacher I've seen firsthand the transformative power of gratitude. The idea for our Gratitude Journal was born from my own experiences with my children, who, like many, faced challenges with anxiety, worries, fluctuating emotions and self-doubt.

Encouraging my children to practise gratitude everyday and write down the highs and lows of their day changed everything.

How Practising Gratitude Supports Children's Mental Health:

- Opens Up Dialogue: Using a gratitude journal creates a space for children to talk about their day. This daily reflection fosters open communication between parents and children, strengthening their bond and improving emotional expression.

- Positive Thinking: By focusing on what they are thankful for, children learn to identify and appreciate the positive aspects of their day. This practice helps shift their mindset from focusing on problems to recognising the positive.

Builds Emotional Resilience: Regularly writing in a gratitude journal helps children understand and process their emotions. It teaches them to acknowledge their feelings and find joy in small moments.

Mindfulness: Practicing gratitude encourages children to be present and mindful. It helps them to slow down, reflect on their experiences, and appreciate the world around them.
